Hinge making

In this full day workshop I will be guiding you through how to make a silver hinge. 

It is a skills based workshop for you to expand your jewellery and silversmithing skills. In the morning I will we will go through the motions in copper, using sheet and tubing, and create one practice hinge. After a lunch break we will then, using silver tube and sheet, make several hinges in a row. This piece can then be incorporated within a bracelet or necklace design you may wish to complete at another stage, or keep it as a reference for you future making. 

Some jewellery making experience would be advantageous for this one day course, but not essential as I will be taking you through the process step by step and you can go at your own pace.
